I was night diving with some friends out at the North Shore. I saw the fish sleeping under the ledge and took a shot. It came out to be a palenose uhu.
I was so happy because I havent seen one this size. I checked the state record, weighed it myself, and realized I just might have the new record. I took it to Hanapaa Hawaii and saw that the weight is more than the current record. So stoked!
